FlatbedEasy

A better open-deck handoff

About FlatbedEasy

FlatbedEasy exists for the freight that does not fit neatly into a standard booking flow. Steel coils need the right racks and crane window. Lumber needs a real tarp plan. Machinery needs height, weight, permits, and a receiver who is ready when the trailer arrives.

We are part of the Conmitto and Dock Optimizer freight network. The goal is practical: give shippers a clearer way to describe a load, get a useful rate signal, coordinate facility timing, and keep delivery evidence with the shipment.

Why this matters

Phone calls are not the problem by themselves. The problem is that critical information gets scattered across them. A trailer type is remembered differently by two people. A crane appointment lives in a calendar no one else can see. A driver arrives with the wrong tarp. FlatbedEasy brings those operating details forward, where they can be matched and confirmed before dispatch.

We write for freight operators who care about safe loading, honest expectations, and fewer avoidable detention hours. That means specific guidance, transparent lane context, and workflows that respect the people doing the work at the yard and jobsite.

Link policy

Some pages link to Dock Optimizer and Conmitto. Every outbound link carries UTM parameters identifying FlatbedEasy as the source and the page where the link appeared. This helps us understand which resources are useful; it does not change the destination or add personal information.
